We had a couple of these a few months back which sold quickly! We finally got our hands on them again. These aren’t even on the Thai market at the moment and have become hard to find.
This Twin Phaya Nak (Naga) amulet is made from a rainbow copper (see beautiful rainbow colors when the light hits the amulet at certain angles) and is blessed with red powder by LP Warah of Wat Pho Thong. Made in BE2560 (2017) and limited to 4,999 amulets (this one is stamped #3184 as seen on the Twin Phaya Nak side). Sold out at the temple. On one side Phaya Nak has taken human form and on the other side you see a beautiful Twin Phaya Nak. Comes encased in a beautifully crafted (handmade) waterproof acrylic to protect the amulet from the elements. The case on this amulet is one of the highest quality cases we’ve seen on an amulet and have been told it is a 2-3 hour process.
Phaya Nak or Naga is the serpent god known for its elusiveness and fast reflexes. They are a strong, handsome species who can assume either wholly human or wholly serpentine form and are potentially dangerous but often beneficial to humans. They have also been known as protector of Buddha and is the reason you see Phaya Nak at many Thai temples. Phaya Nak has been known to split into seven heads to cover and protect Buddha from the storm while meditating.
Comes hung on a beautiful high quality rope necklace with stainless steel hardware that matches well with the amulet and the original temple box.
